A native Spanish speaker, Claudia was born and raised in Mexico City. She earned her bachelor’s and a master’s degrees in Psychology, but she soon discovered her passion for teaching right after she completed her bachelor’s degree. While living in Mexico City, she taught at elementary schools where she loved being a part of an immersion English program. She moved to Chattanooga with her husband in 2015 and since then, has been teaching Spanish to children and adults in a variety of settings. She loves traveling, being a lifelong learner, and having fun with her students of all ages. She’s also studying French!
